Young Winnie Actress Lipsyncs Iconic 'Hocus Pocus' Line in Nostalgic TikTok

Makes me sick!

Never thought we'd find someone to out-Midler Bette Midler, but 15-year-old Taylor Paige Henderson has proved us wrong!

The young actress plays the young Winnie Sanderson in the new Hocus Pocus sequel, and her ability to match the original character's mannerisms—from her eye rolls to her hand movements and everything little detail that falls in between—is not only uncanny, but truthfully kind of eerie.

The flashback scenes were like a real-life look back in time, and today, Oct. 7, Henderson has gifted us with another on TikTok

"tik tok from set i couldn’t post till now," the caption began for the video, which seems to have been shot during some downtime on set. The young Sanderson Sister was in full costume with her hair up in the classic Winifred Sanderson do.

The audio used was from the original film, where Winifred groans, "Another glorious morning... makes me sick!" before slamming the shutters on the museum window shut, which Henderson lipsynced in character before breaking into a smile

To perfect her impression, Henderson shared with Today that she watched the film 40 times prior to filming, and then would watch it every day before arriving to set. “When you watch the [first] movie, that’s something that you notice about Winifred — that weird thing she’s doing with her hands with her fingers by her face. I thought it was really important to add that in because obviously she does it a lot. Winnie is always moving. She’s everywhere all the time. She’s up in everyone’s business. She loves her sisters so much. So, I really focused on that because I think that was really important, she said.”

Between her performance and those of her fellow young sisters—Juju Journey Brener, who plays young Sarah, and Nina Kitchen who plays young Mary—we're wondering why a prequel hasn't already been announced!
