Young Miley Cyrus Foretold the "Bangerz" Era In a "Hannah Montana" Episode

Miley Cyrus is continuing her social media posting spree and we’re 100% here for it.

Since International Women’s Day, the “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer has been posting throwbacks left and right to her Instagram and Twitter, some highlighting the women in her life and others simply rife with pure ol’ Hannah Montana nostalgia but her latest might just take the cake.

Going full Raven-Symoné (to keep in the Disney Channel fam), Miley posted two video montages on Twitter merging Hannah Montana clips that actually rather accurately foretell her infamous Bangerz era.

“Premonition,” Miley captured the first of the posts. In the clip, Miley Stewart can be heard saying “What if I forget the words to one of my songs? Or I forget to put my costume on? Then I’d be singing in my underwear!,” referring to her Hannah Montana performances before cutting to a clip of Miley Cyrus’s 2014 Bangerz tour, during which she indeed performed in her underwear.

The second post, though caption-less, is just as premonitory. “I can’t believe it! This has always been my dream, being on national television holding my own booty,” TV Miley can be heard excitedly proclaiming before cutting to a close up of Miley holding her derrière in another of her Bangerz tour performances.

Needless to say, fans are loving Miley’s throwback spree. “GIRL YOU’VE BEEN WILDIN WITH THESE THROWBACKS LMAO,” one user responded to one of the clips, another adding “Best week of our lives. period. oh my god.”

As one user pointed out, “No one can top Miley’s social media presence,” but others are wondering if there are other hidden intentions behind all the posts. “MILEY SHDJKSFJKSF WHAT ARE YOU UP TO WITH ALL OF THESE MEMES,” one user inquired. Others, however, went the more direct route. “girl are u just nostalgic or you're really trying to say something with all this old stuff?” one user asked, another one asking, “Are you hinting bangerz 2.0.”

Apart from her socials, Miley has been living for her Hannah Montana past lately — even jamming out to “Best of Both Worlds” — and she has also hinted amply at the release of her forthcoming seventh studio album with actual Hannah Montana imagery. Could this be a major clue for MC7? Time will tell but, by all means, Miley do your thang!
