GRANT HARRISON: I didn't expect my book to have that much of an impact on people. But people who are suffering from anxieties or autism or anything coming up to me and saying that it really helped them, it always makes me really happy that my story is able to connect with people. Hello, my name is Grant. And I am the author of "Will You Be My Friend? Through the Eyes and Ears of autism."

"Will You Be My Friend? Through the Eyes and Ears of Autism" is about my experiences in elementary school dealing with anxiety and a strain of autism I have called Asperger's. And it's about me doing a talent show and getting a bit nervous or anxious with the anxieties that come with it. But friends and family come together and help me succeed.

What makes me the most proud about my book is the impact it's given people in my community. The first is spread more awareness about autism and show other people that even with it, you can do a lot of great things. The other impact I think it has on the world is helping families with autism realize that there is hope. If they get the right support if they get, the right people helping, that the people with autism can still easily thrive and succeed.
