The '70s are back, baby!

Young Ben Stiller and his late father Jerry Stiller were captured on an outing in New York City several decades ago, and a photo of the sweet moment has resurfaced on Reddit.

Several users of the forum-based website spread the photo, with one noting that the elder Stiller was dressed exactly like his Seinfeld character Frank Costanza, "from the sports coat to the cabana-esque shirt."

While most of the thread was filled with Seinfeld quotes, one commenter said, "Holy s--t, was he made for the role, was the role made for him, or did he just wear his own wardrobe?"

The younger Stiller, who was 12 when the photo was taken on June 4, 1978, posed with his dad for the photo on a busy corner in the Theater District of Midtown, Manhattan, and it's like the cutest time capsule.

Jerry wore a red and navy plaid jacket over a satiny-purple button-up shirt with floral designs and a pair of khakis, a gray messenger bag over his shoulder, and a matching pageboy cap on his head, while Ben wore a simple tee and jeans.

In the background is a marquee for the Martin Beck Theatre, which was renamed the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in 2003, and a now-vintage police car.

Based on the Playbill in Jerry's hand, it looks like the two had just come from a showing of The Gin Game, which ran in the John Golden Theatre on 45th Street from Sept. 27, 1977, to Dec. 31, 1978.
