You’ll Want to Kiss and Tell With Tom Ford’s New Lips & Boys Collection

Everything Tom Ford does is big except for Lips & Boys, a 50-piece collection of miniature lipsticks named for the dapper men in his life. I was immediately charmed back in 2014 when the fashion designer first introduced these luxe lippies, which are poured into the brand’s signature gold-and-mahogany case. Now Ford is rolling out the red carpet again for the third edition of the highly coveted lip color collection, unveiling 25 new boys and — for the first time — 10 matte finishes.

Trust me: You won’t get bored playing matchmaker with this group of gents, ranging from creamy nudes like Ashton (rosy beige) and Mitchell (deep mauve) to rich metallics such as Logan (lustrous magenta) and Jon (gleaming plum). On the hunt for the perfect holiday red? Your best bet is to take Dylan (dashing matte red) along to all those festive parties and dinners. If you’re looking for a way to ease into the glittery lip trend that was all over the Paris couture runways, pucker up with Graham (shimmering bronze).

I’m not the type of woman to kiss and tell. But if I’m swiping on these lavish lip colors, then I think it’s certainly worth letting everyone know where my lips have been.
