As design lovers, we've all been guilty of paying attention to the interiors of an onscreen home more than the actual plot of the movie or television show. Who can blame us for daydreaming about living in the far-flung cottages of romantic comedies or the palatial digs of period pieces? As breathtaking as the homes are, you can't help but question how much the seaside homes in Nancy Meyer's films or the lavish city apartments of Sex and the City cost in real life. Luckily, the La Jolla realtors did the math and figured out the value of some of the most iconic homes from film.

To figure out the cost of these onscreen homes, the team of realtors representing San Diego's seaside enclave calculated the average home price of similar homes within the same zip code to reveal how much it would cost to buy the house if it was on sale today. A spokesperson for La Jolla realtors says in a media release, "While many of the homes in our research are fictional, this data gives an indication of how much they would cost in real life in the same area."

It should come as no surprise that the exquisite Bel-Air mansion from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air came in at the top of their list at an estimated average price of $9 million. Meanwhile, the quintessentially English cottage owned by Kate Winslet's character in The Holiday came in at a staggering $2.45 million While those whooping prices may be out of budget for most folks, Bella Swan's Forks, Washington home from Twilight came in just under the national average at $305,000.
