New Yorker shares the city's 'most secret park'

A TikTok account devoted to sharing the secrets of New York City recently made a video about the city’s “most secret park”.The park, located at 55 Water St., is called The Elevated Acre.A hidden gem in the Financial District, this one-acre green oasis is easy to miss because its entrance is a rather anonymous escalator.In nychicaa’s video, you can see that the park has “gorgeous views of bridges, water … and a heliport” plus “lush gardens” galore.There is even a “huge field for yoga, working out, lounging [and] relaxing”.However, many native New Yorkers were upset with nychicaa for exposing one of the city’s best-kept secrets.nychicaa defended her decision to publicize the park, noting that she wanted to bring business to the downtown area
