The New York Fashion Week Spring 2020 Calendar: The Who, What, Where, When, and Why

New York Fashion Week isn’t an actual “week” this season—CFDA chairman Tom Ford shortened it to just six days—but that doesn’t mean we’re covering any fewer shows, presentations, or parties on Vogue Runway. Starting Friday, September 6th, the season kicks off with a film screening from Telfar and a sophomore outing from Tomo Koizumi, last season’s breakout hit.

There’s a lot to look forward to this season, but we have a feeling we’ll be spending a lot more time in Ubers and on the subway. Zendaya’s second show for Tommy Hilfiger is September 8th in Harlem, followed by Pyer Moss at kings theater in Brooklyn. Tory Burch is even trading her usual Upper East Side venues for the Brooklyn Museum, and on-the-rise label Khaite is showing at St. Ann’s Warehouse under the Manhattan Bridge.

Of course, not all of the action happens at shows. Phil Oh will be zig-zagging from Harlem to Flatbush to shoot his usual street style photos. Be sure to download the Vogue Runway app to watch the week unfold, and see Vogue Runway’s entire NYFW schedule below.
