New York Dog Who's Been at the Shelter for Nearly 700 Days Deserves a Happy Ending

Somebody please adopting this sweet, loving boy.

A sweet, sweet doggo is very much in need of a forever home and we're hoping that some social media magic can help him out. We found this dog from TikTok user @adopt_calvin_and_friends and once you hear his story, your heart will break into pieces. 

Meet Calvin, a beautiful dog that has been in living in the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh, New York for nearly 700 days. Yes, you've read that correctly. Calvin has been at the shelter for 698 says. Ugh, our hearts. Someone needs to adopt this baby!

Ugh, the tears won't stop falling. We feel so bad for Calvin and can't believe he's been there for nearly 700 days. Who wouldn't want to take this sweet baby home!? Just look at his adorable face! We know very well that he'd fit into any home. 

"How does he still not have a forever family???!?!?!" asked @metallicabreath. That's what we want to know! Any family would be so lucky to have Calvin as their pet. "Oh Calvin...that special family is out there," said @betharvai. And we believe that with all of our hearts!  

Another TikTok user, @Maui4ever, wrote, "Prayers and love sweet soul." We'll be thinking about you, Calvin. But we know you'll be with a family so very soon!
