The York County SPCA places 21 dogs during weekend half-price adoptive event.

Updated May 28: The York County SPCA reported that it placed 21 dogs in adoptive homes that were housed in the shelter on Sunday, May 26 during a half-price adoptive event.

"We even had one dog who was struggling in our kennel enter a foster home, which will no doubt make a positive impact on them and ultimately help them find a permanent, loving home," said Kristen Dempwolf, communications director for the shelter, adding, "This takes a huge weight off of our shoulders in the coming days. We are so grateful to our community and their unwavering support for the York County SPCA and the pets in our care."
