BRITTANY JONES-COOPER: Hey, guys. I'm Brittany. And I'm always looking for ways to improve my overall wellness. And one thing I'd love to do is yoga. It's great for improving my overall strength and flexibility and for creating a sense of calm, which let's be real, we all need right about now. Though you may be curious which specific poses will create the most zen experience. Well, I'm glad you asked.

Here are three yoga poses guaranteed to calm your mind. But a quick reminder, don't force any of these poses, and it's always a good idea to check with your physician before starting a new exercise routine.

The first is Standing Pose. Stand on both of your feet with your eyes closed. Have a slight bend in your knee as you shift your weight from side to side. Take a big inhale, followed by a long exhale.

Up next is Tree Pose. Shift your weight onto one leg, and then grab your ankle and pull the bottom of your foot into your inner thigh. You can slide your toes down to your other ankle if you need more stability or balance, and finally, bring palms together in front of your heart or lift them up into the air. This pose provides a great stretch for your thigh and increases overall leg stability.

And finally, there's Easy Pose. And you can sit however you're comfortable, whether it's on your knees or with your legs. Crossed place your palms face down on your knees and sway from side to side until you find a position that is neutral. Close your eyes. Inhale and exhale. Inhale and exhale.

I love these poses because they're so easy, and focusing on my breathing really does help me to feel more calm. So the next time your kids are getting on your nerves, or your boss requests another video meeting, try one of these poses to keep you centered.
