YMCA outdoor pools open for the summer season

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region announced that beginning Saturday, May 25 the pools at the Monument Valley and Wilson Ranch will be opening for the summer season.

In partnership with the City of Colorado Springs, the YMCA has operated two city-owned outdoor pools for the last 12 years. The pool passes are available to both members and nonmembers to purchase.

Seasonal, monthly, and day passes for the pools are available and early bird pricing is in effect until Friday, May 24. According to YMCA’s website, the pools will be open weather permitting until Monday, Sept. 2.

The hours of operation for each pool are as follows:

Wilson Ranch

  • Monday through Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Monument Valley

  • Monday through Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Sunday: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
