  • Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have erected privacy screens around their temporary L.A. home.

  • The couple is currently staying in Tyler Perry’s mansion.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently staying in Tyler Perry’s Los Angeles home, and apparently privacy is somewhat of an issue. According to the Daily Mail, the royal couple has erected privacy screens around the Beverly Hills area mansion due to its close proximity to hiking trails.

Basically, now that Parks & Recreation has reopened some of the neighborhood’s more popular hiking routes to foot traffic, locals are potentially able to see inside Meghan and Harry’s temporary house. So yeah, makes sense that they’d take steps to increase their privacy!

Workmen were seen putting up the screens over the weekend, which will prevent hikers (or, um, invasive paparazzi) from snapping photos of Meghan and Harry’s pool area. Meanwhile, a source tells the outlet the Duke and Duchess have a pretty high level of security in the house:

“Beverly Ridge has its own guarded gate and Tyler’s property has a gate of its own, which is watched by their security team. Beverly Ridge is an excellent place to keep out of view. The neighbors are mostly old money and mega rich business types rather than show business gossips. It goes without saying that the location is stunning—just one of the most beautiful and desirable areas in L.A.”

As a reminder, Meghan and Harry are looking to buy their own place in Los Angeles, so their stay in Tyler Perry’s home is only temporary.
