This Yeti Tote Bag Is $150, but I Think It’s Worth Every Penny

It’s replaced all my cotton tote bags.

I have a closet in my home I’m afraid to open. There’s no monster inside (I think) just a whole lot of totes. Over the years, I’ve collected more totes than I have glassware, and that’s really saying something. But I finally found a tote bag that made me give all of those cotton ones away.

When Yeti sent me a sample of its tote bag, I realized that not only is it stylish, but it can hold plenty of stuff, making it perfect for the grocery store, the beach, or anywhere really. If you need a do-it-all tote bag, this is the one to get.

While you might think of coolers or drinkware when it comes to Yeti, you can also add tote bags to the list of products the brand has mastered. The Camino Carryall truly can carry it all. It measures 15 by 9.9 by 18.2 inches and has a 35-liter capacity, although you could also grab a smaller option at 20 liters or a larger one at 50 liters). But I think the 35-liter is the just-right size — it’s not too small that I can’t fit everything I need for a picnic inside, and it’s not too big that I can’t carry it easily.

Speaking of carrying it, that’s another thing I love about this bag — it’s extremely comfortable. It actually has two handles: Two shoulder straps which let the bag rest right at my hips, and in the middle of the two, sturdy handlebars if you don’t want to carry it over your shoulder. It even has a little clasp to keep everything together so nothing spills out.

The bag is also extremely tough. As in, my dog cannot chew through it (and she chews through everything). While it is important to note that this bag is not a cooler, it is made with a waterproof and easy-to-clean material that is perfect for bringing along for boat days or beach days.

Lastly, it is just so smartly designed. There are two dividers on either side which are perfect for putting water bottles or a bottle of wine, and even a little zipper pocket for keeping small items like a bottle opener. It offers the support and structure of a backpack, while also giving the flexibility of a tote bag for storing large items.

We do need to talk about the price, which is high. $150 is a lot for a tote bag. But thanks to its versatility (you can fit nearly anything in this thing), and the quality of the materials (unlike cotton totes which get gross after a little while), I think this is definitely a fair price point.

Bottom line: If you have a closet full of tote bags (and let's be real, who doesn’t), it’s about time you ditched them and grabbed this bag. I have a feeling it’ll be the last tote you ever use.
