Yes, Even Meghan Markle Has a Version of the Comfy Airport Outfit
Airport style is officially a thing, even with the royals. Earlier today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle flew out of Hervey Bay in Australia dressed in an airport outfit that even the most laid-back traveler would appreciate: loose-fitting linen top, skinny jeans, and stud-trimmed flats.
Still, her arrival look told quite a different story. Upon landing in Suva, Fiji, the Duchess stepped off the plane in an ensemble that ticked all the most elegant boxes as far as royal protocol goes. (Note the requisite Stephen Jones-designed fascinator and demure midi-length silhouette). It was a fitting way to greet the crowd of well-wishers who gathered to welcome the newly-weds to the Island—she and Prince Harry were whisked away to a reception at the Grand Pacific Hotel shortly after. What's more, the white dress by Aussie label Zimmermanncontinued the streak of Antipodean fashion choices Markle has made on her tour Down Under. Markle accessorized the dress with a Kayu woven straw clutch and Tabitha Simmons slingbacks. As for Prince Harry, he upgraded his khakis and polo combo for a slick suit.
