Sadly, no. There will be no new episode of Yellowstone on Christmas Day.

You bet! Even though there's no new Yellowstone today. Paramount Network is running a Dutton Family Holiday Marathon beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Paramount Network. The marathon will include episodes from Yellowstone, the 1923 premiere and the first two episodes of 1883. When Is the Next Yellowstone on?

You'll only need to wait a week for the next Yellowstone episode to air. Yellowstone will return next Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023 for the show's mid-season finale. A premiere date for the second half of season 5 has not been released.

What happens in the mid-season finale?

In "A Knife and No coin," Jamie goes through with his plan. John has an ask for Monica, and lends support to an unexpected friend. The Yellowstone cowboys embark on a big change. And we finally learn in a flashback the reason for Rip’s undying loyalty to the Dutton family and the Yellowstone.

What happened on Yellowstone last week?

In "The Dream Is Not Me," John and the ranch hands dealt with a problem with the herd while Sen. Perry (Wendy Moniz) delivered news to Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) who already had his hands full with new opponent, Angela Blue Thunder (Q'orianka Kilcher). Jamie and Sarah planned their next move. Later, the entire Yellowstone enjoyed a rare evening of fun together.
