It's no surprise that Luke Grimes is a man of many talents. The actor, who stars as Kayce Dutton on Yellowstone, has appeared in hit movies like American Sniper and Fifty Shades of Grey, and next, he'll show up his comedic side in an upcoming Netflix rom-com called Happiness for Beginners.

But some fans are surprised to find out that Luke is also a musician with a country music album in the works. And in fact, next year, fans will be able to see him perform for the first time at Stagecoach Music Festival.

As if that wasn't enough, the 34-year-old just joined Instagram for the first time ever to announce the big news.

Luke shared one photo of himself playing guitar and another of the music festival lineup, which features Luke Bryan, Kane Brown, Chris Stapleton, Brooks & Dunn, Gabby Barrett, Parker McCollum, Jon Pardi, Breland, and many more. The 3-day event takes place April 28-30, 2023.

The lineup includes two more familiar faces for Yellowstone viewers: Ryan Bingham, who stars alongside Luke as Walker, and Lainey Wilson, who joins the cast for season 5 as Abby.

Fans, not surprisingly, flooded his comments section with excited messages:

  • "Please for the love of all things good someone buy a me ticket to see this man"

  • "I JUST PASSED OUT"

  • "Did I know @lukegrimes was a musician???????? I don’t think I did"

  • "HE SINGS TOO!?😭😭"

  • "Wait. What? 🔥"

  • "This is not a drill."

  • "Thanks a lot LUKE!! My daughter is now freaking out and we have to plan a trip to the west coast. WE LIVE IN VIRGINIA!!!🤦♀️ 😂🤣"

Luke's costar Kelly Reilly (who stars as Beth Dutton) contributed a series of hearts, and Jefferson White (Jimmy Hurdstram on Yellowstone) posted a crown emoji.

Luke recently told Country Living that after he moved from Ohio to New York City, he got a guitar and started teaching himself how to play. "It’s been a part of my life ever since. If I have an acting gig, I always have a guitar. And not just because I’m working on an album. It’s always been a little buddy that I can take around anywhere. It’s somewhere to put some of that energy when you’re in a new place and don’t know what else to do.”
