'Yellowstone' Star Luke Grimes Announces Major Career News With Never-Before-Seen Photos

By now, Yellowstone fans know that Luke Grimes is a man of many talents. The 39-year-old actor, who stars as Kayce Dutton on the Paramount Network show, is also a musician. Last year, he teased an appearance at the Stagecoach music festival in April, and his first country music single, "No Horse to Ride," was included in the Yellowstone soundtrack.

Now, Luke is treating fans to another tidbit of information about his upcoming album with an Instagram post.

Luke included two black-and-white photos, one of him playing guitar and another of him in a recording studio. He included the caption, "new music coming very soon…" Country music star Parker McCollum left this funny comment: "I can smell that Stetson lady attractant just by lookin at this pic."

Fans flooded him with hundreds of supportive comments:

While this may seem like a new side of Luke to some fans, music has been a part of his life from a young age. He told Country Living that he began playing the drums in church at the age of 9 and listened to Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard with his dad. When he moved from Ohio to attend acting school in New York, he taught himself to play the guitar. He said, "I always have a guitar with me. It's always been a little buddy that I can take around anywhere."
