Is 'Yellowstone' Returning to TV Tonight? Here's When the Show Will Come Back

It's been more than a year since the last episodes of Yellowstone aired, so surely we'll be returning to the Dutton ranch soon, right? Unfortunately, we have many months to go before we find out the answers to so many unanswered questions on the Paramount Network drama.
When will Yellowstone return?
Any time the show's official Instagram account posts something new, fans flood the comments section with messages like, "new season soon please.. it’s been way too long" and "Please air the remainder of season 5 and stop teasing."
Unfortunately, iIt's going to be a while. After previously stating that the second half of season 5 would return in November 2023, Paramount Network announced that the show will air a year later: November 2024. An exact date has not been set, and filming has not yet begun on new episodes. Because it is filmed in Montana, production will likely resume in the spring. No word yet on whether Kevin Costner will be returning to the series.
Will season 4 of Yellowstone air on CBS?
Millions of new fans started watching the show this year when CBS began airing reruns. The explosive season 3 finale aired on January 29, and the episode ends in a major cliffhanger. Four of the show's main characters' lives were left in serious peril, and viewers who tuned in on CBS are surely looking for a resolution. But CBS has not yet announced if season 4 will air on the broadcast network.
If CBS chooses to air the fourth season, it won't be for a while. The next two Sunday nights have major live events (the Grammys on February 4 and the Super Bowl on February 11), and then Sunday, February 18, will see new episodes of three shows: The Equalizer, Tracker, and CSI: Vegas.
Viewers who can't wait to see Yellowstone if and when it aires on CBS can stream all episodes on Peacock.
