Why 'Yellowstone' Fans Love This Salisbury SteakParamount Network

There's a lot to love about Salisbury steak. It's comfort food at its finest. It's hearty and easy to make. We could go on and on, but there's now another reason to love the dish, and it's all thanks to the meal's cameo in the season four finale of Yellowstone.

Fans of the show will likely remember all too well the moment when John Dutton (Kevin Costner) offered this warning to Garrett Randall (Will Patton): "Best Salisbury steak in Montana. You enjoy. Because you never know which meal will be your last."

As ominous as Dutton's Yelp review-turned-threat was, we have to admit that we were very much intrigued by the Salisbury steak. Thankfully, fans have uncovered that the scene took place at a real-life restaurant. According to Missoula, Montana, radio station 96.3 The Blaze, it was shot at the restaurant Glen's Cafe in Florence, Montana. And yes, they serve Salisbury steak!

Funny thing is, Salisbury steak was reportedly not on the menu at Glen's prior to the season four finale.

Now featured on the cozy cafe's lunch menu, the Famous Yellowstone Salisbury Steak comes served with your choice of a side. And even though mashed potatoes is the only right answer here, you can also get French fries or onion rings.

As if the ultra-affordable $13 price tag for the meal wasn't already enough to swoon over, all the beef served at Glen's Cafe (including the Famous Yellowstone Salisbury Steak) is homegrown on the owner Glen's ranch.

Sounds like we have ourselves a flight to Montana to book.
