'Yellowstone' Fans Think This New Instagram Post Drops a Huge Season 4 Clue

From Good Housekeeping

  • Season 4 of Yellowstone is expected to premiere early this summer.

  • Three of the Duttons — Beth, Kayce, and John — were all attacked in one way or another during the season 3 finale, which aired last August.

  • Some fans seem to think that Jamie was behind the attacks — and this new Instagram post may confirm it.

Someone has some explaining to do on Yellowstone.

During the final minutes of the season 3 finale last August, three of the Duttons were attacked: John (Kevin Costner) was shot on the side of the road, Kayce's (Luke Grimes) office was raided by armed men, and a bomb detonated in Beth's (Kelly Reilly) office. At this point, it's still unclear if any — or all — of the Duttons survived to see another day.

Shortly after the attacks, Rip (Cole Hauser), who was in the dark about what just happened, called Jamie (Wes Bentley) to see if he was having trouble getting in touch with the other Duttons. Jamie cut him off, telling him that he doesn't think he should call him anymore. This conversation, along with previous statements made by Jamie's birth father, led some fans to believe that Jamie was responsible for the attacks. Perhaps, this was his way of seeking revenge for all the different ways that they betrayed him?

Now, as we're just months away from the season 4 premiere, the official Yellowstone Instagram account posted a photo of Jamie on Dutton Ranch with a caption,"Even the clouds around Jamie are ominous."

Yellowstone fans immediately viewed this post as confirmation that Jamie was behind the attacks — or at least, that he was involved in some way. "Jamie is up to no good," one fan wrote. "Jamie should have never looked for his real father! He is nothing but trouble," commented another.

Others, however, think Jamie is the obvious and therefore, less interesting choice. A few fans are convinced that Malcolm Beck (Neal McDonough) came back to finish the job. As you may recall, Teal Beck was killed during the season 2 finale, but it was never made clear if Malcolm survived or not. That means, there's a chance that he's still alive and ready to seek revenge on the Duttons. "Why do y'all think it's him? I mean, I'm sure it's Malcolm who did this," someone commented. "Anyone think Malcolm Beck is still alive and had something to do with this? We did not see him die. Hmmm," another echoed.

Along with the Malcom Beck theory, several fans have named Roarke Morris (Josh Holloway) and Willa Hayes (Karen Pittman) from Market Equities as potential attackers. At Dutton Ranch, anything is possible, so we'll just have to wait until the summer to find out the truth.
