Yellowstone just made an announcement about new merchandise, but fans are a bit surprised about Kevin Costner's John Dutton not having a bigger part.

In a series of photos posted on Instagram, the Paramount Network show's account shared that their online store added new memorabilia for viewers to buy and support their favorite fictional cowboys.

The variety of merchandise features a Yellowstone ranch-branded rocks glass to a coffee mug with a famous quote from Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser). But the real collector's item came in the form of life-size cutouts, featuring a few of the fan-favorite roles in the drama.

"Get official merch for all your favorite Paramount Brands (including #YellowstoneTV!) at the newly-launched Paramount Shop," the post read on March 15.

As to be expected, Yellowstone fans were ecstatic to see all the various pieces they could purchase related to the popular Montana-based TV show. But some eagle-eyed folks noticed an inconsistency with the cutouts of beloved characters, like Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes). They realized that they couldn't buy a life-size version of the Dutton patriarch, and demanded answers over this in the comments.

"Think we don't notice that Kevin isn't in your ad ... duh ... ," one person wrote on Instagram. "We need a cardboard cutout of Kevin Costner!!!" another agreed. "Soooo nothing John Dutton. Interesting 🧐," a different user theorized.

Given how Kevin continues winning awards for his work on the hit series, it made sense why fans would be disgruntled about the oversight. Though the reason behind this has not been revealed — it may have something to do with his Yellowstone contract and the use of his likeness for product launches but this is not confirmed — there are other offerings that may help ease the frustration.

The Paramount shop also has apparel with sayings from the beloved character, including John's line, "Go ruin someone else's day." And should you want to get a lay of the land, you can buy properties of the Yellowstone ranch thanks to the official Monopoly game.
