The cast of the Yellowstone prequel 1883 (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sam Elliott, Billy Bob Thornton) blew our minds, but this new announcement might be even more jaw-dropping!

Back in February, Paramount+ announced the next installment of the Dutton family saga is in the works. The new series, 1923, will jump a few decades into the future. For this new show, creator Taylor Sheridan is taking us back to the days of western expansion, Prohibition, and the Great Depression. Taylor said, "With Yellowstone, I had built out this backstory of where the Dutton family came from, and with 1923, I chose that moment in time to peek back in because you're seeing the children we've met in 1883 now attempting to raise another generation of Dutton at a time of the Wild West becoming a playground of the elite from the East."

With this new announcement, we now know what actors will be continuing that story. And they're certainly A-listers! The show will star Academy Award winner Helen Mirren (Gosford Park, The Queen, Catherine the Great), and Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones, Star Wars, The Fugitive). The two previously appeared onscreen together in the 1986 film The Mosquito Coast. We don't know yet what roles these Hollywood icons will take on, but we can't wait to find out.

The streaming service announced the news on Instagram, and they got bombarded with comments. One fan wrote, "You must be joking! 😮 This will be awesome! 👏" and another said, "YES!!🙌🙌🙌 Can't wait!!🔥🔥🔥"

What's more, Paramount+ revealed that this new series will premiere in December. Consider our calendars marked!
