'Yellowstone' Fans, You Might've Missed Kevin Costner's Important Announcement on Instagram

Yellowstone fans, John Dutton has arrived on TikTok.

Followers who keep up with the Paramount Network series are aware that actor Kevin Costner likes to share his accomplishments on his verified Instagram and Twitter accounts. But he threw many for a loop on February 17, when he shared a throwback photo from earlier in his career while simultaneously revealing surprising news about his social media. The Bodyguard actor shared that he recently expanded his internet presence to include posting videos on TikTok as well.

"Feeling young today … got a @tiktok account," he wrote in his Instagram caption. "Find me there if you’re on it too."

When Yellowstone fans realized that Kevin will start sharing elements of his life on TikTok, they got so excited about this new prospect. Naturally, they let the Field of Dreams star know their thoughts in the comments section on Instagram.

So, has he already started uploading videos to the social media app? Yes and it turns out that folks already saw it on Instagram a few days earlier. The Paramount Network star posted his reaction to unboxing his 2023 Golden Globes award.

What's more, Kevin broadening his social media horizons isn't the only announcement fans probably missed. Entertainment Tonight announced that he plans to host and executive produce an eight-episode docuseries for the History Channel, currently called Kevin Costner's The West.

The outlet further reported that the show will dive into the stories of the "Wild West" and share ideals that "capture the spirit of opportunity, adventure and peril through the diverse, complex characters and untold stories that defined the era and continue to shape our country today."

This would mark his second documentary style project following his Fox Nation docuseries Yellowstone: One-Fifty, which premiered in November and concluded with four parts.
