Grab your cowboy boots and rope: Yellowstone season 5 is just on the horizon, and we’re starting to see sneak peeks of the new episodes premiering later this fall.

On June 1, actress Wendy Moniz, who plays Governor of Montana Lynelle Perry on the Paramount Network drama, revealed that she was heading back to film the new season. In a series of Instagram photos, the Yellowstone cast member gave a glimpse of her character’s outfit, an aerial view of what’s presumably Montana and a luggage bag donning the show’s logo.

“Yellowstone Season 5 #letsgotowork 🤠,” she captioned the pics. Wendy also shared her Instagram post on her Instagram Stories and added the message, “Politics 😉 YS5 🤠.”

According to multiple outlets, cameras started to roll again on May 16. NBC Montana previously reported that the show is filming in Missoula "outside the county courthouse" in June.

Reacting to the actress’s update, Yellowstone fans expressed excitement. “Yes...please get to work. LOL Love you guys so much!!!! ❤️❤️❤️,” one person wrote in the comments section. “Yes!! 🔥🙏. Anxiously awaiting Season 5,” another added. “I can not wait to see what the Governor does this season,” a follower commented to which a different fan replied, “That would be Senator To you 🤠🤠🤠.”

Since her introduction in the first season, Yellowstone fans have witnessed the politician’s relationship evolve with John Dutton (Kevin Costner) throughout the Taylor Sheridan-led series. Although their relationship was mostly private, the two eventually went their separate ways romantically but remained friendly.

Season 4 of Yellowstone hinted at a new chapter for the Dutton family when Lynelle approached John about taking over her position as governor after she decided to run for the U.S. Senate. After much consideration, John accepted her endorsement and declared his candidacy, effectively tearing the dream away from Jamie (Wes Bentley).

Apart from Wendy giving folks a first look at Yellowstone season 5, fellow costars Kelsey Asbille, Forrie J. Smith, Ian Bohen and others have posted their own behind-the-scenes photos. Kelsey posted a familiar sight of the Yellowstone barns, Forrie shared swag the cast received and Ian was seen reuniting with everyone, including actor Cole Hauser.

"What an amazing group of actors 😍🤠❤️!!! Be safe while making another wonderful season ❤️🤠❤️," a fan wrote in Ian's comments. "❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥 be still my heart!!!!" another quipped.

We can’t wait to see more sneak peeks before Yellowstone comes back on November 13. It's definitely making the wait easier.
