Yellowstone fans, you may want to saddle up for this news. The hit Paramount Network series will be back with season 5 on November 13, and it looks like one of the show's newest characters may be on the hunt for some romance.
On October 11, Entertainment Weekly exclusively announced that actress Orli Gottesman is the latest to join the popular drama's cast roster. According to the outlet, she will portray Halie, a young teen who catches the eye of Carter (Finn Little), currently living with Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser).
To celebrate the news, Ori took to Instagram to confirm the news with an ecstatic message. "REVEALED! so excited to be working with @yellowstone," she captioned a screenshot of the article. "Can’t wait for you to meet Halie, you’ll love her!!"
When Yellowstone fans heard the big news, many immediately flooded Orli's post with comments about how thrilled they were to meet her character in season 5.
"👏👏👏👏 that is awesome, can’t wait to watch her!!!! ❤️❤️," one person wrote. "Orli!!!!! So excited for you. And now another reason to be even more excited for the next season!" another added. "Omg yes 🔥🔥🔥🔥," a different follower said.
So how exactly will Orli's character fit in with Carter and the rest of the Yellowstone ranch residents? Per Entertainment Weekly, Orlie's character is described as the "person who gives Carter the chance to come out of his shell and to teach him not only about himself, but he finds himself always wanting Halie to be around. Halie comes along and now there is someone who can fit that mold and be there for him."
Folks may remember that the end of season 4 saw him moving in with Beth and Rip shortly after getting arrested for a misdemeanor. Naturally, he may be looking for someone to help him wrestle through everything he's gone through. While Halie will definitely be someone to watch out for, we'll also have the chance to see Carter interact with Rip as well.
"Finn Little and I, we have some good stuff this year," Cole told Entertainment Weekly in the same announcement. "I'm becoming more of, I guess, a father figure to him, although he's growing up fast. And so there's that relationship, which has been very cool to see blossom."
With Orli now part of the Yellowstone cast, season 5 is looking to be quite a ride.
