Yeezy Photos Surface Online Suggesting Three New Colorways
Kanye West could be releasing three new colorways for his the AdidasYeezy 350 Boost on Black Friday.
Rumors surrounding this release aren’t new, but now there are photos circulating that could confirm the shoes — which feature a black base with bronze, red and green stripes on the sites — will be out on Nov. 25.
While West has found success with his sneakers and boots designed in collaboration with Adidas Originals, his attempts at women’s footwear have been less fruitful, as evidenced by his Yeezy Season 4 fashion showwhere models teetered down the runway in the nonfunctioning footwear.
West’s team said the women’s styles would go through rigorous testing before being produced for consumption, but Adidas, which has doubled down on its partnership with West with a stand-alone brand, Adidas + Kanye West, distanced itself from the styles.
“These particular boots are actually not a part of the Adidas collaboration,” an Adidas spokesperson told WWD.
Instead, the new collaboration with Adidas is focused on creating footwear, apparel and accessories for all genders across street and sport and his assortment will extend beyond a lifestyle focus to include performance.
West, who is on tour, recently rescheduled “Saint Pablo” show dates following his wife, Kim Kardashian, being robbed in Paris.
