Yara Shahidi Wears Floral Gucci Dress on Instagram
On top of being an actor, model, and activist, Yara Shahidi is obviously a fashion and beauty icon. Her highlight game is always on point, she taught us how to get creative with hoop earrings, and she even knows how to bring fashion and politics together (and does so on the regular). Naturally, Yara continues to blow us away with her looks — and her most recent outfit is definitely no exception.
The Grown-ish star took to Instagram last night, March 31, to show off a gorgeous floral Gucci dress with wide sleeves and an above-the-knee hemline. The cream-colored dress was adorned with polka dots, purple and red flowers, and delicate gold buttons down the center of the bodice. From the tags on Yara's photo, it seems as though she paired the romantic dress with a Miansai bracelet and pieces from Established Jewelry.
In one photo, Yara is seen against a cement wall wearing gold sandals fit for royalty; in another, she's lying in the grass, revealing that the shoes contain a surprise: bright purple heels. In addition to the eye-catching outfit, Yara wore her hair in braids that were capped off with purple and gold beads at the bottom, putting the perfect finishing touch on her overall breathtaking look.
Yara also took time in the tags to shout out the people who helped her put the ensemble together: makeup designer Emily Cheng, hairstylist Nai'vasha Johnson, nail artist Emi Kudo, and celebrity stylist Jason Bolden. Yara's mom, Keri Shahidi, also made an appearance in the tags.
There's no doubt that this is one of Yara's boldest looks yet — and a total inspiration for the upcoming warmer months.
