SUZANNE SOMERS: Chronologically, I am old. But I'm not old. I'm not old. I'm looking forward to the next three decades, honestly.

I'm 74. I love it. I'm not kidding. Other people say they love it, and they don't really love it. I love it. I eat as though my life depends upon it because I have had cancer. And I do believe my body and my life depends on the food that I eat. I have a garden bed with a set of flowers. I grow broccoli and cauliflower and peppers and cucumbers, all in organic soil with purified water.

Because I don't eat any processed food, I think I look better as a result. I have good hair. And I have good skin. And I'm not terribly wrinkled. And the wrinkles I have don't bother me because I deserve some at 74.

I love the way my body looks. I wear short shorts at 74 because it's hot where I live. It's 118. And my skin isn't sagging off of me. And I wear very short skirts because my legs are still good.

That picture of me in those short shorts was a few months ago. My granddaughter was staying overnight. And she came down the stairs and went, look at us, we're dressed exactly the same. I don't even think about it. I wear shorts around the house. And it just felt natural for me.

As far as wearing braless and you can see my whole breast kind of clothes, 74's too old. 54 is too old for that too. You have to have your own inner barometer. You don't want to look desperate. It's just having a feel for what is inappropriate.

We were walking the mountains here. And all the grasses had turned kind of golden blonde. And I said to my husband, oh, this grass is the same color as my hair. Take my picture. To make it look like I was in the grass, I pulled my straps down. And it was pretty cleavagey. I wasn't nude, but it was pretty cleavagey. And I had no idea it was going to go viral. But it went viral because I was 73, and it was natural. I'm proud of that picture.

The trolls? You can't please everybody. And you have to get in the mindset of what they don't have to do with their day that they're going to spend their time going after people like me. I'm your friend.

How am I enjoying 74 so much? It is about balanced hormones and nutrition and minerals. The body responds to balance. And if your body's in balance, as mine is, you look better, you age better, you feel better, you have energy.

Gut Renew aids in the aging process because if your gut isn't healthy, you aren't healthy. And there's a gut-brain connection. And if you don't have a clear path from the gut to the brain, your brain starts shutting down because of the shrinkage of the brain.

Most women my age can't sleep. I sleep eight, nine hours a night without drugs. I take valerian root. I take magnesium. And at least twice a week, Alan and I take an Epsom salt bath together, which is all magnesium. And we stay in the tub for about 20 minutes, get real sleepy. And when you've had an Epsom salt bath, a little $3.50 miracle, you will sleep like a baby. And in the morning, you will have a good illumination. And all of that equals reverse aging.

Right now, if you said, Suzanne, you can be 24 again, I don't think I would take that. I like it better now. I'm so happy that I exercised my whole life. I did yoga every other day for 19 years. Seeing myself for who I really am-- I know this sounds weird-- but I really like who I am. I really like me.
