Frances Tiafoe is one of *the* biggest names in tennis right now. The Maryland native recorded the biggest win in his career after he defeated Rafael Nadal and advanced to the semifinals of the 2022 U.S. Open and is currently ranked in the top 10 players in the world. TL;DR: His success on the court is public knowledge at this point. But his love life? Turns out, it's just as amazing

Frances has been dating fellow professional tennis player Ayan Broomfield (any chance you thought you had should be gone by now, dear reader 😭) since 2015, and they are truly the cutest. Ayan is a supremely talented Canadian tennis pro with more than one International Tennis Federation (ITF) title to her name despite only being 25 years old, so yes, she and Frances make quite the power couple.

Get to know a little more about Ayan and her sweet 'ship with Frances below, including how she and Frances met.

Ayan is a tennis player

Yep, Ayan actually made her WTA debut in 2014 alongside her partner, Maria Patrascu, at the Coupe Banque Nationale. Initially, she made an entrance into the competition in the doubles division. In the time since, she's competed in singles as well with great success. Case in point? Her singles WTA ranking is 680, and in doubles, she has climbed even higher up to 467 in the world.

And if that's not already impressive enough, the athlete currently has two ITF titles to her name. Casual!

She is Canadian

More specifically, Ayan was born in Ontario, Canada. She traveled to South Carolina in the United States to attend Clemson University before ultimately becoming a part of the Bruins tennis team at UCLA in 2019. (While at UCLA, the pro athlete even won a national championship 💍!)

She's 25 years old

In honor of Ayan's 25th birthday (and Leo szn, obvi) last year, Frances shared a cute tribute to his girlfriend and wrote, “Happy 25th bday to my baby. Quarter way done with this whole life thing. Damn you getting old out here 😂😂😂. Enjoy it today wish I was with you I love you see you soon ❤️❤️😍😍 @ayan.broomfield.”

Legit the perfect combo of 😂 and 🥺 if ya ask us.

And she's got a really cool acting cred under her belt

Ayan was featured in Will Smith's movie King Richard as a body double for Saniyya Sidney, who played the role of Venus Williams. She even got a pic with the I Am Legend actor during her time on set:

Plus, the tennis star has a short documentary titled Ayan Broomfield Tennis Story—which debuted on July 22, 2019—out on Amazon Prime Video now! In the event that you're intrigued (why wouldn't you be?!), here's the film's official synopsis: “National Champion and All-American tennis star Ayan Broomfield reflects on her life in tennis, the influence of Venus & Serena Williams and the future of her professional career.”

'Kay, all I have to my name that's remotely close to this is a home video my dad took of me getting a participation ribbon during my 5th grade Field Day race. Clearly I'm doing something wrong with my life lol.

Ayan and Frances met through a mutual friend in 2015

Which means that these two been together for 7+ years!

According to reports, the couple actually met during the 2015 U.S. Open after Frances was urged to go on a date with Ayan through mutual friend and fellow tennis player Vickie Duval. Frances then messaged his now-girlfriend on Instagram, asked for her phone number, and met her family before they made things official official, per First Sportz. S'cute!

They are legit couple goals

Case in point? Ayan was front and center supporting Frances during his victory against Tomas Martin Etcheverry at the Fayez Sarofim & Co. U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship in Houston back in April 2023—a win that wound up securing his second career ATP title.

During his victory speech, Frances thanked his coaching team and fans before he gushed about his girlfriend: “I also want to thank…my girlfriend Ayan, who I see in the crowd at 1-0. I didn't even know you were in Houston. I thought you were in L.A.! She surprised me that's unbelievable you're here. You see me win my second title, so that's unbelievable.”

At the time, Frances also reportedly took to his Instagram Stories to pen this 🥺❤️ tribute to his girlfriend: “Love this girl sooo damn much. You flew in for the final without me knowing. You didn’t want to miss the moment. Soo thankful for my baby my road dawg for real.”

Aaaaaaand that's pretty much all we know about these two! Now excuse me while I recruit everyone I know to also ship the heck out of them.
