The World May Be Going to Hell, But at Least Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Are Still Dating
President Trump doesn't know how to spell Sessions, Jared Kushner still has top security clearance, and some members of the conservative media are lambasting children who just survived a deadly school shooting, but, hey, at least America has one thing: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are still dating and appear to be very much in love.
The on-and-off couple known as “Jelena” seemed very much still on at Bieber’s father Jeremy’s wedding this week in Montego Bay, Jamaica, where they were photographed hugging, kissing, sharing meaningful glances and generally never not touching. (Even when getting a drink at the bar, Bieber was reaching behind to squeeze Gomez’s thigh— it’s like that). For anyone still reeling from the site of that flap of windblown hair taking flight from Trump’s scalp, the photos will truly serve as a visual cleanse, despite the fact—or, depending on how you feel about him, because of the fact—that Bieber’s groomsman attire consisted of hot pink Bermuda shorts and a completely unbuttoned white shirt revealing his bare, tattooed chest.
For fans reading into it (who, me?), Jelena’s wedding-centered date is yet another sign that their young love is actually serious this time, headed, as the Daily Beast buzzed today, for “a marriage made in Instagram heaven.” Lord knows, people could use the distraction.
