Over the weekend, the Cross Country World Cup wrapped up its first block of races in Brazil. After two XCO races and two Short track races, Victor Koretzky and Hailey Batten are leading in the overall standings.

The pointy end of the World Cup standings is seeing some new faces. Risveds finished 2023 in 7th overall while Blunk and Batten finished the year in 17th and 18th respectively.

It will be interesting to see what will happen when the defending overall champion, Dutch star Puck Pieterse returns from her early season road racing block.
