World Cup Champions Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris Marry in Miami Wedding
Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris are married. The FIFA Women’s World Cup champions exchanged vows Saturday, December 28, in a Miami ceremony, according to People.
The athletes chose Vizcaya Museum and Gardens as their wedding venue. “It was this kind of Mediterranean castle-like vibe right on the water, this European-type vibe that we were going for,” Krieger explained to the magazine. “Right when we walked in we were like, ‘Oh my God. We love this and everyone else was going to love this and this is just … This is it.’”
Krieger wore a gown by Pronovias against Harris’s Thom Browne suit. To help design out the historic Miami space, the couple enlisted Sara Lowell of Sara Renee Events to help plan the wedding, along with their own agency.

The pair, of course, used The Knot to plan the wedding from start to finish (registry included). Leading up to the day of the wedding, the pair enjoyed a rehearsal dinner at Seaspice.
“It’s time baby… I’ve been waiting 10 years for this moment,” Harris wrote Saturday. Krieger added: “I can’t wait to marry you! @ashlynharris24.”
Krieger and Harris announced their engagement in March. The future spouses first met while playing for the U.S. Women’s National Team back in 2010. They are now teammates for the Orlando Pride.
