Feeling like there's no time in your schedule to get a workout in? Well, we're going to let you in on a little secret: You don't have to exercise for hours upon hours to lose weight, build strength, and improve your overall health. In fact, you can complete a full-body workout in just 15 minutes—and you don't even have to go to the gym to do it.
Engaging in compound exercises will help you get a body-transforming workout fast. These efficient workouts include double-duty moves that fire up multiple muscle groups at once, allowing you to maximize your limited workout time. The result? Better muscle growth and a stronger figure.
To help you create a fitness routine that works with your schedule, fitness instructor Larysa DiDio created a full body workout featuring compound exercises that not only strengthen muscles in your arms, legs, and core, but also challenge your balance and coordination. And, it will only take you 15 minutes to complete.
All you'll need is one set of light dumbbells (3, 5, or 8 pounds) as well as one heavier set (10, 12, or 15 pounds). To complete this workout, do each exercise for 10 to 12 reps each, then move onto the next movement with as little rest in between as possible. Repeat the whole circuit two times in total, and aim to do it three to five times a week for the best results.
Read on for the 15-minute total body workout that strengths your whole body, according to DiDio.
