Now joining two boards of different sizes together with a 45 degree angle is somewhat of an uncommon problem but this man's tip for how to successfully do it is a lifesaver when you run into the problem yourself.

He starts by laying the smaller board on top of the larger board until they line up flush at the top and then marks it on the bottom. Using a speed square he marks a 45-degree from the corner of the previously marked line to the tip of the board and cuts it. He repeats this process on the smaller board. He places the boards together to show off a seamless fit!
