Wonder Woman Barbie Is Here to Slay
With the highly anticipated Wonder Woman film coming out in 2017, Mattel has announced a new Barbie befitting of the Amazonian Warrior Princess.
The doll will be based on the style of Gal Gadot’s character, who recently captured our attention in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. She’s ready to charge into battle with bulletproof cuffs and her signature golden lasso. She’s also wearing a royal blue hooded cape (and capes are having such a moment right now), lined with gold lamé over her iconic red bustier and royal blue paneled skirt — don’t worry, Mattel didn’t forget her golden tiara. And those thigh-high boots, where can we get them?
The doll will retail for $80, and will be available for online pre-order on June 17, and at Comic-Con in San Diego from July 20 to 24.
