“What better way to commemorate a historic moment in Wonder history than to team up with another iconic American brand at its biggest celebration of the year?” said John Steed, senior vice president of legacy brands at Flowers Foods. “Like Wonder Bread, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a cherished tradition for many American families as they come together to celebrate Thanksgiving and the official start of the holiday season – it was just a perfect fit. The iconic bread brand geared up for its Macy’s Parade debut with an immersive out-of-this-world event that gave fans a sneak peek at the spectacular float dubbed "The Wondership"— a whimsical, one-of-a-kind airship float, which appears to be traveling high above fluffy clouds. The decor of the event also featured clouds hanging from the ceiling and the brand's signature primary color pattern trailing the floor.

“The float, as we’re calling it, The Wondership,” says Ashley Smith, Wonder Bread’s brand manager, “pays homage to the hot balloon race that originally inspired our iconic name.”

Elmer Cline, the company's creator, first felt a sense of "wonder" more than a century ago, and that feeling will be rekindled by the float's design. The Wondership,” will be propelled by the famed red, yellow, and blue balloons and powered by confetti to inspire all to keep looking up.
