Leah Remini’s meet-cute with Jennifer Lopez didn’t go as planned, and the story is priceless.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Kevin Can Wait star, 48, revealed that she first met her Second Act co-star, 49, when J.Lo was dating Marc Anthony. The problem? Remini didn’t expect her to be so pretty, and her reaction will make you say “same.”
She said, “So, we went to the premiere hoping she was gonna be ugly in real life, and then when I was approaching her, I was like, ‘I hope it’s the lighting. Maybe she just looks good in here,’ and as I got closer I was like, ‘Oh damn, there’s a lot of light right here, and she looks really pretty.’”
The actress went on to recall their, er, surprising conversation, adding, “I said, ‘Goddammit, why the f***, why are you so f****** pretty?’ And she laughed.”
Hey, at least it was a compliment.
