26 Features That Women Wish They Could Add To Their Clothing, From More Pockets To Standardized Sizing
Buying women's clothing can quickly spiral from "retail therapy" to "despair in the dressing room," what with a total lack of size consistency across brands, high prices for inexpensive materials, and the always dreaded gap between shirt buttons. So there were plenty of impassioned responses when redditor u/Big_Concentrate_7267 asked r/AskWomen, "What is something you want in women's clothing that doesn't exist or rarely does?" Here are 26 of their pitches for a brighter future in women's fashion.

1."Bathing suits that DON’T have those shitty built-in foam cups that aren’t removable."
2."Cool clothes for plus-size and mid-size women. I'm so tired of most of what's available for us looking like oversized toddler clothes. I want to look cool and sleek, not like I've stepped into a 2010 Hot Topic or like I'm someone's child or grandma. So many brands that get recommended over and over for bigger women just make ass-ugly clothes."
3."Honestly? Bras that have different sized cups for each breast. Not all women have the same size on each side and it’s so difficult to fit them right. I have seen some options online, but they are hard to fit right with an online guide."
4."Black leggings that are thick, high quality, and NOT SHEER. Why do they make leggings sheer? I don’t know."
5."Like, more fabric. So much more that you can form little bags in your clothes and put things in them. I would call them 'pockets.' Man, I'd get rich with this BRAND NEW IDEA."
6."A white shirt that isn't made of gossamer. Or a plain black shirt that isn't super thin/low cut/stupidly designed. Had to wear black shirts for my old job and only ever found something I could wear in the men's section."
7."A sizing system that takes in account the length of the torso. Some women have a super long torso and some women have a super short one, resulting in a completely different fit of the dress, even if they are the same size."
8."High quality women’s Oxford shoes! I ADORE them, but tracking down a well-made pair is quite the feat."
9."Petite clothes that are actually made for petite people. Half the time, the models on the website are 5’6”, which is definitely not petite! Also, petite clothes for curvy women as well."

11."Knee-high boots that actually fit around my calves. I played a lot of volleyball and my calves are just bigger. I always wear low shoes because I can never find ones that fit around my calves."
