Woman’s sinister plot to invade a fraternity goes horribly wrong: 'I’m still cringing’

College students don’t have much to do while cooped up in quarantine, and for some, that has inspired greatness.

Jill Cervini found herself pretty bored when she decided to text a member of a fraternity at her school, Bentley University, to get invited to a recruitment event.

It wasn’t hard. She told In The Know that she messaged the fraternity brother claiming her name was “Blake Wright,” got added to the GroupMe for rush, and the rest is TikTok history.

Cervini and her roommate, Caitie Walsh, donned classic frat boy attire — sweatshirts and hats — and painted beards on their faces to blend in. She also sent her boyfriend, Griffen Adams, the invite link.

A few minutes into the call, Cervini tried to ask a question, but she told In The Know that she “started laughing so hard [she] had to mute herself.”

To “stir the pot,” Adams asked the room a raunchy question, which the fraternity brothers thought was serious.

It got a few awkward responses, warming up the room for Cervini, who asked, “How much you guys bench?”

That did not get any responses.

“So awkward I can’t OMG I’m still cringing,” Cervini wrote in the video.

The women lasted 19 minutes before getting kicked out of the call — “way longer” than expected, Cervini said.

They wrote “who else is bored :P” in the chat and it didn’t take long for them to get booted out of the room after that.

That’s when the fun really started, though.

“I’m friends with some of those boys so I talked to them after and they said they were talking in a private group during the session about how sketch my beard was,” Cervini told In The Know.

She then uploaded the footage of their prank to TikTok and sent the link in the rush GroupMe … and she was removed from that, too.

Cervini doesn’t have any regrets, though.

“We have to keep creative since we’re in quarantine and can’t do much on campus, but this was soooo much fun,” she told In The Know.
