Should Women Blow-Dry 'Down There' After Sex?

The Doctors are answering a question you might have seen on social media regarding your vagina... should you "blow-dry" your vagina after sex?
OB/GYN Dr. Nita Landry explains that while this is not required, she says it could help women who are dealing with recurrent yeast infections.

"That is a moist environment and it is a good place for yeast to grow," Dr. Nita explains.
But if you are going to use a blow-dryer in that region, The Doctors have some suggestions.
Make sure the blow-dryer is set to a cool setting, to avoid burning
Only use the blow-dryer on the outside of your body

Another option that Dr. Nita suggests, instead of using a blow-dryer, is to clean and dry the area following sex. She notes the main goal is to keep that area clean and dry.
