Women Get Bikini Waxes for the First Time in Slow Motion
There are certain moments that are always cringeworthy no matter how you slice them — nails running down a chalkboard, hearing your recorded voice for the first time, and the moment right before a wax strip is about to be ripped off your skin during a hair-removal appointment. Luckily, most of these experiences happen in a flash, allowing you to place the memories in the back of your brain, where they were meant to be. But, our friends at Glamour decided to give a little more attention to what goes down at a waxing appointment in a video that is equal parts painful and hilarious to watch. They rounded up a group of women who had never had a bikini wax and filmed their faces during the process, in slow motion. Luckily, most of us don’t have a camera crew in tow during those often-vulnerable appointments…can you imagine!? But, thanks to these brave souls, we now have an idea of what we might look like in the act. See their reactions below.
