Woman's Encounter with Senior Horse While Out on a Walk Is So Heartwarming
What a touching gesture this elderly horse's owner has done.
Horses have a unique and special place in the hearts of many people. These majestic animals possess a rare combination of intelligence, grace, and beauty and the people who own and care for them have very strong bonds with their horses.
TikTok user @Ells_raine_ was out for a walk in the countryside where she boards her own two horses and she came across a field with a beautiful horse waiting by the fence. Watch the following to see the touching note left by their owner for people walking by this elderly horse named Owen.

The note reads: My name is Owen. I'm 29 and have a very poorly leg but I love carrots.
Considering the average lifespan of domestic horses is 25-30 years old, it's just so touching Owen's owner wanted to make sure this sweet old boy enjoyed his favorite treats when he encountered strangers on a walk.
We aren't crying, you're crying!
@Clooo comments, "Owen deserves all the carrots in the world!!" @Han adds, "Please may you visit Owen again and give him a carrot from me? My heart can’t take this." @Laura replies, "This melted my heart. I bet he’s been waiting for people to pass him." @Mel says, "He’s going to cross the rainbow bridge soon so I think she just wants him to have the most love before he goes."
