Woman Transforms Vintage Nightstand Into Gorgeous Sunflower Painting

There's restoring a dresser to its former glory, which usually involves sanding it down, painting, or varnishing it. And then there's turning it into a literal work of art. Like the kind that you might see on a wall in a museum. Van Gogh who? You don't have to stick to one color when painting a piece of furniture. It's not a hard and fast rule. So if you're trying to figure out what you want to do with a piece you plan on flipping, why not try out using it as a canvas? That's what one talented artist did, and it looked absolutely fantastic when she was done.

YouTuber The Top Drawer RVA took to YouTube Shorts to share a clip on Monday, October 9 of her latest project. She started with a vintage old brown dresser that needed a little TLC. But she was going to do something a lot different with it than you might be expecting. In the before footage, you can see how it started as an unassuming little dresser with three drawers.

But when this artist got her hands on the dresser, she left it looking like a miniature painting. She transformed it completely into a gorgeous work of art, with a beautiful sunset and sunflowers on every corner of the piece. It also included rolling green hills and the gorgeous twilight sky.

It barely resembled the dresser that it started out as. In fact, it looked kind of like something you'd buy at a high-end art exhibit. And it absolutely looked less like a vintage piece of furniture. You'd want to protect this thing at all costs. If you're a talented artist, you might decide to try this out on a future project!
