Woman Takes Her 175 LB. Tortoise Out on the Town for Movie Premiere

Most of us are used to seeing pets out on the town with their owners, especially dogs, cats, birds, lizards, and snakes. But what about an almost 200-pound tortoise? That's definitely not something you see every day!

@Caitlin and Tiptoe are a gorgeous young woman and 175-pound tortoise who are BFFs. Caitlin shares their adventures on TikTok, and their latest one included a day out on the town for the premiere of Adam Sandler's new Netflix movie, Leo. The duo shared their outing on Tuesday, November 21st, and they turned a lot of heads at the theater!

I'm pretty sure that Tiptoe was loving all of that attention! I bet he got a front row seat, too! Transporting an almost 200-pound tortoise to the movies probably takes a lot of effort, so I'm glad that @Caitlin and Tiptoe were able to pull it off!

Commenters loved seeing the giant tortoise in his adorable little hat on the red carpet. @Deanna Lancaster178 wondered the same thing I did, "How did you get him to sit still for the movie ?!?" @Mary Campbell shared, "That's so awesome that they let Tiptoe inside!!! I hope you all enjoyed the movie." I agree with the commenter who pointed out, 'I love how he bursts out his house each day! Ready to start the day strong!" Even the @GEICO Gecko chimed in, "More turtles and lizards in showbiz please!"

My favorite comment came from @Angel Casanova-Robles who shared, "I always felt like Tip Toes adventures would be a great children's book"! Yes please! I think kids would really enjoy all of Tiptoe's adventures...I know I would!
