An arrest has been made in connection with the death of Robert De Niro's 19-year-old grandson, Leandro De Niro-Rodriguez.

A 20-year-old woman named Sofia Haley Marks, allegedly known on the streets as the "Percocet Princess," was arrested in New York City on Thursday night, July 13, as part of a drug investigation linked to the possible overdose of De Niro-Rodriguez, according to law enforcement.

As Parade previously reported, the teen died on July 2, after being sold fentanyl-laced pills, according to his mother, Drena De Niro. An official cause of death has yet to be determined in the case.

Marks, who is believed to have sold narcotics to the 19-year-old, was taken into custody on federal drug distribution charges and is expected to appear in a Manhattan federal court on Friday.

The arrest is part of an ongoing probe by the New York City Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
