This woman had the best response to President Trump it’s a very “scary time for young men in America” comments after Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh recently faced sexual assault allegations.

Lynzy Lab Stewart came up with a parody song called “A Scary Time,” and a video of her performing it has gone viral with more than 6 millions views on Twitter.

The Texas-based singer-songwriter uses irony and satire to make scathing commentary on what it’s like to be a woman today. “I can’t walk to my car late at night while on the phone. I can’t open up my windows when I’m home alone. I can’t go to a bar without a chaperone and I can’t wear a miniskirt if it’s the only one I own,” Stewart sings while playing the ukulele.

The lyrics detail multiple experiences as a woman, such as being unable to leave her drink unattended, use public transit after 7 p.m., or go for a run in the city. Despite all the precautionary actions she and other women take to protect themselves, Stewart sarcastically sings that “it’s still a scary time to be a dude.”

“It’s really tough when your reputation’s on the line and any woman you’ve assaulted could
turn up anytime,” Stewart sings.

However, by the end of the song, Stewart pauses to turn the catchy tune into a call to action for women to use their “collective voice” and vote in the upcoming 2018 midterm elections: “It’s time for women to rise up [and] use our collective voice. The day to vote is Nov. 6, so let’s go make some noise!”

Actor and activist Mark Ruffalo even retweeted the Texas native’s post, encouraging others to listen to the song to get “an idea of the world” as women experience it.

“We are evolving toward greater equality, which is a great thing for us ALL. Don’t be afraid to have greater awareness,” Ruffalo added.

Ellen DeGeneres weighed in as well.

Although Stewart has not responded to requests for interviews, she has been overwhelmed by the response she’s received. “I could not be more grateful for this opportunity to use my voice for good,” writes Stewart on her personal Facebook page with the hashtags “vote,” “resist,” and “believe women.”
