Woman Makes Adorable Key Holder Out of IKEA Woven Baskets

Ikea is the bread and butter of all DIYers. Similar to the Dollar Tree, Ikea makes products that are relatively inexpensive and are perfect for customization, since most of their pieces have a Scandinavian feel, they are rather sleek, come in muted tones, and are simple to work with. Their pieces can be painted, cut, added onto, and turned into completely different forms from their original. One woman, Instagram user @kosmetikshoppingx showed off a rather simple yet effective Ikea DIY for an entryway key holder that is simple to create and practical to use. Check it out below!

Ikea is becoming even more popular as of recently than it has been in the past, and no not because of their meatballs, but because their items are inexpensive and perfect for creating DIY decor. We have seen people make shoe racks out of drawers, bookcases into hidden doors, and bedside tables out of bread bins.

Even on the smaller scale of things Ikea products can make the perfect customizable decor, that is also highly functional. Such as this key holder.

Using a small table basket, the woman attaches four small hooks onto the basket and secures it to the wall in her entryway. It acts as the perfect spot to drop and pick up keys on your way in and out of the door!
