Woman’s hangover cure from McDonald’s cannot be classified as a meal

A Canadian woman’s hangover cure is getting laughs online after her husband shared the unusual McDonald’s order on Instagram.

Jody Poole shared his wife Katie’s order the morning after they had been drinking.

“So we had a few drinks last night @katievandemark decides a McDonald’s hamburger will cure her hangover,” the post began.

Poole explained that his wife is the type of person who is super picky with her orders — à la Meg Ryan’s character in “When Harry Met Sally.”

“Now Katie is the type of person who will make modifications to a classic – ‘no pickles, no onions’ etc. So this is what she ordered,” the caption continued.

The receipt in the photo lists that Katie had tried to order a hamburger with no bun, no mustard, no onions, no pickles and no patty. She got just that — two ketchup packets for the price of a burger.

“I’ve heard of ‘having it your way,’ but at least you have to have it,” one commenter quipped.

“NO to all the things,” Katie commented.

The couple seemed bemused that their post started getting picked up by local Toronto outlets.

“We have gone viral!” Poole wrote in the caption of a follow-up post.

“Is ‘Toronto woman’ like ‘Florida man’?” Katie joked.
