Woman Gets Surprised by White Grizzly Bear in the Canadian Rockies in Viral Video
When you think of white bears, you probably think of Polar Bears. But contrary to popular belief, there are White Grizzly Bears that do exist, although they're almost unheard of.
That's why this video from TikTok user @kitazakibanff is absolutely mind-blowing. She captured a very rare, up close, and personal video of this beautiful white bear that locals have named Nakoda. Take a look at this incredible clip which already reached over 8 million views!

Wow! This is such a wonderful and rare sight to see. Can you imagine being one of the lucky few to spot such a rare animal? We'd do anything to be able to see beautiful Nakoda. But we also know it's important that we keep our distance not only for our safety but to protect this one-of-a-kind animal. "Nakoda is always a delight to see," said @cd_inklings. For real! Wildlife officials have been working to protect this all-white grizzly bear ever since she first appeared in Canada's Banff National Park. They even tried leading her away from the highways to a safer location, but she still wandered back into the park. Officials are asking for visitors who do catch a glimpse of this rare beauty please be respectful. Do not seek out the bear and keep your distance.
Now, we know that bears seem all cuddly because well, we want to hug them, but we cannot! These giant, wild animals are dangerous and you should take precautions if you ever encounter one. And if you're hiking in bear county with your dog, please be sure to never leave them unattended, keep food in a container and don't leave dishes out. A few simple steps can truly go a long way.
